Reid and Sloane set off for London and Paris in June—part field work, part pleasure cruise.
Sloane made landfall first in Paris, her old stomping grounds, before rendezvousing with Reid in London. From there, Reid charted course north to Oxford and south to Portsmouth, with a layover in Cowes for good measure.
The mission? A sweep of museums, libraries, and archives in support of a long-gestating RC project. Grateful thanks to Yacht Club de France for granting access to their storied archives.
